12.000 white and red carnations and 5.000 laurel leaves were used to create the tricolour “vegetal standard” that has adorned the front of the stage, prepared in Piazza Duomo in Milan, for the concert of the Philharmonic Orchestra of La Scala, directed by the great George Prêtre to celebrate the 61° anniversary of the Republic.
