The Restoration of a Historic Villa

When working on a historic villa, the project must strike the perfect balance between renewal and respect for the history and culture of the place, removing the unnecessary while enhancing what deserves to be enriched.

This residence in Brianza, once abandoned, has been restored to its original splendor through a careful and sensitive intervention that preserved the memory of the building. The pergola crossing the inner portico, covered with a rich variety of climbing plants, becomes a true “tunnel through time,” evoking the atmosphere of when the villa was first conceived.

The water basin, restored in accordance with the original design, integrates perfectly with the surrounding garden, becoming a harmonious and evocative element that unites past and present.
