Bodrum, the most renowned tourist destination in Turkey, is famous for its stunning beaches, crystal-clear sea, and wild, powerful nature.
The company Varyap, a leader in the residential and hospitality sector, acquired a large area entirely overlooking the sea, immersed in the lush greenery of the prestigious Yalikavak area. The design of the twenty-four exclusive villas was entrusted to Emre Arolat Architect, one of Turkey’s leading studios, with which Paghera has long collaborated. From the beginning, the project’s guiding principle has been environmental respect: every native plant was preserved, and the villas were designed around them, in a harmonious dialogue between architectural volumes and green forms. This approach creates a rare and exceptional balance, highlighting the authentic charm and timeless beauty of the place. The perimeter walls and roofs will be covered with local natural species, minimizing environmental impact.
All outdoor areas, private and communal, are configured as a single large Mediterranean park. Shrubs, seasonal blooms, and rocks recovered during excavation recreate the effect of a natural landscape, where human intervention is discreet and respectful. Water consumption and maintenance are minimized, following a philosophy of sustainability. Private pools and the lake in the communal area are designed with the same approach, using the natural slopes of the land to integrate seamlessly into the context without disturbing the environment’s original balance.
