A 19th-century rural complex, an ancient garden in need of complete restoration, and a villa awaiting to be returned to its former splendor: a new dream to unite in marriage with the memory of the past. In just four months, Paghera worked its magic, giving the property — thanks to careful planning and attention to every single detail — elegance, dignity, splendor, and a new aesthetic and functional vision. This is the signature landscape design by Paghera.
Here, the 3,000 square meters of natural garden located in Piedmont express the spontaneity of greenery, a poetry of Nature, the emotional pull of memory, and the intimate, domestic emotion of a green space invited to offer different hues as the seasons change.
The large garden was conceived to reflect the beauty of the surrounding environment over time, becoming a true kaleidoscope of colors, with plants that transform and provide aesthetics and romance in every season, offering a unique and inimitable view.
Plants and Nature are the absolute protagonists of the garden and its beauty.
Paghera’s “green recipe” here appears naturally and spontaneously, particularly thanks to large patches of color. Flower combinations shape the space, softening the lines of the villa’s austere architecture. The garden’s role is to complete the beauty of the residence, making it unique and special, enriching the view and offering a space to be enjoyed all year round.
The plants used in the design and all the vegetative elements were combined with apparent freedom, enhancing the characteristics of native and local species. The selection was made carefully, not only to create an aesthetically appealing garden but also to reduce the need for particular maintenance. Borders are mainly composed of herbaceous plants, from which blooms emerge in different color shades, while cultivated areas were left in their natural state, fully respecting the needs of the species, to create a low-maintenance garden inspired by the English style.
The pebbles of the winding paths, the roses typical of an English garden, the suspended atmosphere, and the boundless view capturing the horizon: everything appears masterfully integrated, as if it were the natural completion of a poetic and value-driven landscape design.
