This outdoor project, designed and executed by the Paghera Group, involves a villa residence in Sicily characterized by generous dimensions, both for the house and the surrounding expansive land.
The Sicilian soil is distinguished by its natural richness: fertile ground, vigorous plants, and vibrant, abundant fruits. The project stages a harmonious contrast between lush, imposing, and resilient plants, creating a composition of great intensity. The garden is enriched by native palms and centuries-old olive trees, typical regional elements, accompanied by succulents such as agaves and variegated blooms of primroses, azaleas, wild snapdragons, roses, and ivy. The result is a captivating and seductive scene, leaving an indelible impression.
The English-style lawn unfolds along the natural slopes of the terrain, leading to the pool, also designed by Paghera. Rounded in shape, the pool resembles a natural spring, with visible rocks along its edge and a relaxation area equipped with sun loungers. Access is via a natural stone staircase, flanked by native vegetation that appears to cascade freely down the steps. The wide variety of locally selected plants gives the garden a unique and remarkable character.
In Sicily, the lush nature is the absolute protagonist, and for this project, Paghera chose to fully enhance it, foregoing abstract styles or rigid, bourgeois lines, less suitable to exalt the strength and beauty of this landscape.
